Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a 4-year University of Georgia institution situated in Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb on Atlanta’ s northwest side. It was founded in 1963 as Kennesaw Junior College with an enrollment of one thousand students. In 1976 the name was changed to Kennesaw College as it became a 4-year institution. It was renamed Kennesaw State University in 1996. With an enrollment in excess of 24,000 graduate and undergraduate students, Kogi State University Portal is the third largest university in the Georgia system.
The university’s 240 acre university includes class room structures, an athletic complicated, a student middle, car parking decks, and four condominium real estate buildings. There are 3,500 students living in campus real estate. Shuttle coaches offer transport around the campus. The KSU Owls get involved in NCAA Division I athletics within the Atlantic Sun Meeting. Men may take part in baseball, basketball, cross nation, golf, tennis, and monitor and field.
